I have exciting news about new ways to spread Reiki and help to those who are in need. One of the decisions we, Reiki Master/Teachers, had during Reiki Day was to have free “Healing Days”. An initiative is starting in leadership of Elfriede Manning, a dear Reiki Master, to provide free Reiki every month to those who need it. The sessions will be at Manna Outreach in the auditorium of BLOC ministries. This is an excellent opportunity for new Reiki practitioners to volunteer. Watch out Ning for details and please pass on to your Reiki networks. If you are not in Ning and want to volunteer, contact Elfriede directly at elfriede@knopf-family.net. This is an excellent opportunity to spread Reiki and make a good deed :-)
I’ll share more exciting news next time as I’m about to build a partnership with an institution to provide Reiki there. This will be an excellent opportunity to volunteer and also teach Reiki. Of course, our vision is to have a “Healing Day” where we can share Reiki with all those who need and want to experience it. I’m writing it “again” to help it to materialize!!! At some point in future, we’ll have a “Healing Day” at Sawyer Point!!!
Free “Introduction to Reiki” session on May 15th

Reiki 1 Class on Saturday May 15th from 9 am – 6:30 pm at my home
Spread the word! Do you have a loved one whom you’d like to expose to Reiki? This is the perfect opportunity. We’ll cover all the basics: what’s Reiki, how it works, how it heals, history of Reiki, Reiki principles and of course the Reiki 1 attunement. The class includes a yummy lunch and an all afternoon hands-on practice.
Reiki 2 Class on Sunday May 23rd from 9:30 am – 5: 30 pm at my home
Are you ready to deepen your Reiki practice? This class is empowered with Japanese Reiki Teachings and introduces the “symbols” as a means to invoke particular energies as they represent different aspects of creation. You will ground to the Earth, balance with Heaven and connect with the whole Universe. Come join!
“CONVERSATIONS ON LIFE” with Sundar Kadayam
We didn’t forget you!! We’ll continue with the Spiritual conversations in early June!!! These conversations are an exploration about life from a spiritual angle or an afternoon with like minded friends (or both).
H.H. DALAI LAMA on May 12-13-14
Don’t miss this! How many times Dalai Lama can come so close to you? The Spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, H.H. Dalai Lama will be at University of Indiana Campus in Bloomington on May 12-13 to give teachings on Heart Sutra (it’s only $90). He’ll also give a public speech on May 14th. Heart Sutra is one of the prominent teachings of Buddhism that explores the concept of “emptiness”. I can’t wait to study Heart Sutra with His Holiness. http://www.dalailama.com/teachings/schedule
Reiki Share/Support Groups:
Reiki Share at Bethesda Arrowsprings on Wednesday, May 12 from 6:30pm to 8:00 pm at Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs ~ Physical Therapy Dept.
Reiki Support Group meets at the Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash every 2nd Saturday. Next meeting is on May 8th. Pease RSVP directly to Mira if you’d like to join. It’s a great way to ask questions and share experiences. Contact Mira at: mirashukla9@hotmail.com.
Reiki Share at Northern Methodist Church on Sunday, May 16 (6700 Winton Road, Finneytown, OH 45224), from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Please RSVP by the Friday before to Elizabeth at sharingreiki@yahoo.com. The fee for this Share will be $10. Light refreshments will be provided.
